Short wave radio and electronics. The composer writes: "Reception, interference and projection; transmissions through walls vs. the ambient radiation of nearby electronic devices vs. constructed sound reinforcements."




Anna Clyne
Choke
For baritone saxophone, recorded sounds, and film. Performed by Argeo Ascani, saxophone. The film is by Jon Niborg Speier.





PLOrk
The Princeton Laptop Orchestra, a performance group that continually grows out of a seminar at Princeton University, led in different ways at different times by Perry Cook, Dan Trueman, Scott Smallwood, and Ge Wang, performs music composed expressly for Ear to the Earth. The current mambers are: Alan Tormey, Ananya Misra, Andrea Mazzariello, Anne Hege, Ge Wang, John Fontein, Laurie Hollander, Matt Hoffman, Margaret R. Daniel, Michael Hammond, Perry R. Cook, Rebecca Fiebrink, Samson Young, Scott Elmegreen, Scott Smallwood, and Spencer Salazar.
