It's a way of sharing your field recordings and receiving sounds from others.
Here's our contact address. Use it to send sounds, ask questions, make comments.
There are several ways you can send us your sounds. You can attach a sound file to an email. Or send it via electronic courier such as You Send It. Or upload it and send us a download link.
If you send your sound file as an attachment, mp3 is the preferred audio format. Otherwise, aif or wav are ok. In your cover email, please tell us where the sound came from and how you did it. And please send us your name, what you do (e.g. student, professor, performer, composer, lawyer ...), and where you do it.
We'll post your sounds and, at least once per month, we'll send you a download link for all the sounds that we've uploaded that month.
We'll also mention the sounds on our Facebook page and if you have any comments, we'd be really pleased to read them.
